  4. Not really. Binance found out about the incest relationship between Alameda and FTX so they pulled their money which crashed the price. Turns out what FTX was doing was taking customer money for the coins they issued, issuing more of their own coins and using that as collateral for loans, then lending all that to their own hedge fund, who invested it in FTX's ventures. This circular lending of money pumped up valuations.
