Former CNC Machinist here: Just because it is new, doesn't mean it is batter. 3d printing is restricted what materials it can use and leaves internal flaws (i.e. layers of material instead of one solid block). Airplanes use alluminum alloys and have razor thin error margins which simply rule out 3d printers.
