  5. @Moonlight you mean Sri Lanka or Nigeria or some other Belt and Road scheme? Because if so, that money was for high stakes construction projects. If not so, quit blame shifting on vague foreigners, especially since mass defaults have occurred in many Chinese cities over the last few years.

  6. Cash isn't necessary better as there are at least some licensed money printers lining their pockets. Plus bad economic data means the currency varies wildly in value.
