It really depends on you college major and chosen industry But as Warran Buffet said, McDonalds teaches more people how to run a business than all of the business schools combined. Meanwhile technical training pays unusually well compared to the upfront cost, mostly because there's nothing prestigious about it and you can't get rich off it. Statistically speaking, jobs like plumber and butcher pay the best relative to skill because no one wants those jobs.
