  2. The con isn't that the technology is fake, the con was that it not the "5th generation" of cellphones. It increases broadband by incorporating the one wavelength of signal that is not used for anything else: Ultra-violate. While radiowaves easily pass through brick walls, UV is easily stopped by sunscreen, or paper, or rain clouds. Useful in busy airport terminals where there's never enough data speeds, but not much else.
