  7.  @skonafid  no, Tesla's competitors found out they didn't have the equipment to copy the cars. So they paid people to make fraudulent vehicle safety claims and launched a smear campaign online and physically as their cronies vandalized Tesla cars and properties in a number of small riots. This did nothing for the Chinese manufacturers but Tesla management appears disillusioned about modernizing Chinese car manufacture.
