  3. Lose the whataboutism. We're talking a deliberate policy of high inflation. Some countries do it and it works ok.

  4.  @Evettecord  Italy. I forget the exact circumstances but they devalued their currency in order to incentivize an export economy (I.E. trading cheap-ish Italian goods for foreign currency). This ended when they went to the Euro, but these days Italy and the EU feud over currency because Italy likes to print more than others.
