  2. That's equally preposterous in the opposite direction. 1. Sawed off is literal. A short barrel does equal a sawed off barrel. 2. You seem to think weapons create criminal intent. That's Monty Python level silly. 3. These aren't assault weapons they're just plain useless. With that caliber, the short barrel, and no shoulder stock all you're going to kill is your hearing. 4) The people that own these do so because they're fun. Not because they plan to use them (I will never buy one). You'll find this with a lot of sporting guns. People buy them because they look cool while being useless then regs are introduced because they look scary and no other reason.

  19. Luty was a man with more machinist skill than sense. He tried to use a criminal court as a stage for changing the law... When said courts are not even allowed to make those decisions so he went to prison regardless what anyone thought.

  31.  @OmniMontel  no. In 9 states you MAY lose voting permanently, in others you can't vote from prison, in others you vote onces paroled, in some you vote from prison. For the Feds IIRC they don't disenfranchise anyone or provide for from prison ballots. But in any case you said weapons laws are intentionally disenfranchising people, and you know this to be false.
