  1. Investment bankers have some weird incentives. Most of those jobs are competitive, narrow margin, performance based, sales positions. And it's hard to prove their connection to their client's malfeasance. End result: Investment bankers often really do fit into a lot of cold hearted banker stereotypes. The commercial banks you deal with are the total other end of the spectrum.

  4. To do that you'd have to prove systemic crime, while it's hard enough to connect individual bankers to these crimes as they're generally just giving clients anything they want no questions asked.
