Chinese stocks are like Detroit real estate. It's cheap for a reason.

Don't take those autonomous robots claims at face value. It's super easy to exaggerate the quantity and quality of those

Dear WSM: You dismiss cash grab claims because the company is pocket change compared to the economy, but I think you miss the point. Someone in a high place in China may have sold short the stock in the few days it was public.

@MarketOracleTV you mind lending that crystal ball when you're done with it? The reason it's cheap is because it's high risk and that risk is priced in.

@TheAlchemist1089 the city's bread and butter was automotive manufacturing and had a substantial inner city with crime and gangs. During the 2008 crash demand for new cars dropped as struggling families bought used cars or more carefully maintained old ones to save money. Many factories closed and people moved away and some reopened elsewhere years later. The crime rate per capita increased as the people who stayed were often the ones with gang connections, or drug addictions, or without college educations that could get them jobs in other cities. Many abandoned buildings exist and landowners will take any price for rent/purchase of property just so they get something out of it.

You can't praise/ridiculed "the hedge funds" for any positions as there's over 10,000 hedge funds in the US alone and the all gave different exotic ideas.

Effective summary of Chinese education. But I will add that Chinese high schools do a lot of the same things that boot camps do. That dehumanizing meyhem plus a heavy reliance on standardized tests plus tight schedules and huge classes means the easiest way to succeed is to cheat. And everyone in these schools are seeking success rather than learning. China can't compete because they're overly competitive.
