That's partisan bull, not business talk

They lived fine during the iron curtain, why would thus be any different? Then again, if you believed all the internet experts, you would have believed Russia would collapse in a civil war over a month ago, that Russians had both useless equipment and were slaughtering indiscriminately, that Russians were both suffering 80% casualties and were seizing ground, that Russia was a third world country with first rate science and factories, and so on and so forth. The bottom line is the internet is full of it.

Yeah. Russians.

Also advertised as highest performing security whichvis sus

You physically couldn't as I'm aware of no western broker that trades it
3
A Russian restaurant bought them up.
2
No, you boron. The Russians had gold and foreign currency reserves, the latter they're exchanging for rubles in order to deflate the currency, but the ruble's price is pegged to nothing. The US has the largest gold and silver reserve in human history, but the price of the dollar is pegged to nothing. Both rely on central banks to keep the currency stable.
2
@Jillaroo79 like you'd know how Russians live
2
@antman7673 you seem to think everyone in the world feels a need to punish Russians
2
Illegal? Lose the bull, governments set their own currency rules, and it is literally their job to keep a currency stable. Trading their foreign currency reserves for rubles, and deleting surplus rubles, they can reverse the effects if the split.
2
No one is failing because their own boycotts
2
Like you'd know. Life in most of Russia continues as it always has
2
So do most former Soviet states, but the real bottom line is eastern Europe's economy isn't dependent on global trade. Never has been

I use to be part of a Facebook trading group when if Tesla/Apple opened green that day it was "yay success" and if red it was "don't worry I'm in for the long haul." It's just a sign of partisanship. Nothing more.

@mrjjman2010 who said anything about price fixing?
1
In your head.

Russians and their immediate neighbors
1
Not exactly
1
As if you'd know that
1
@armchairwomanmao2922 where you are, maybe.
1
Yeah, I imagine they need to take rubles out of circulation because there's less of them floating abroad.
1
Shut up. Get drafted
1
@aightm8 I did, but it changes nothing and what you really said is actually worse since it isn't illegal to sell rubles and that wouldn't prop up the price (money ain't stocks).
1
Don't pretend you can win a war with social media posts and boycotts
1
@williamlloyd3769 yeah. You know Ukraine is still importing Russian gas
1
And you know this how? I imagine Moscow has been taking bills out of circulation but that's their job.
1
@eoinoconnell185 That sounds like Moscow's central bank is doing their job to keep currency as stable as practical
1
No... Anericans didn't use remubles even befire the war
1
@Ray88G shut up and get drafted, freak show
1
@iamtocoolforyou1000 DEFLATING the ruble. Inflation is when price goes down. And keeping the price stable is their job.
1
That's literally not even the case, so shut up. Permanently.
