  1. It is delisted, but the share certificates exist and there are websites for linking such buyers/sellers. Usually people with shares in a defunct company will take literally any price no questions asked, and sometimes businesses reopen.

  3.  @OGHiddenpaw  the exchange isn't a judge, they don't cancel shares they just trade them. Bankruptcy courts often delete shares of bankrupt companies but many simply close up shop.
