@darklight6921 don't go all in on a zero sum game, dude. The expected return of a commodity is zero, and mean reversion is very much a thing. Also, you're really betting on a long and cold winter (which I can't shake the feeling is coming).

@darklight6921 the companies or the commodity? Because those are wildly different bets. And no matter what you're betting elected fools will do, you can bet your ass they aren't planning anything that will potentially swing the election against themselves

@darklight6921 even if that were true, why would that send gas prices higher? And the only sure things in war are fire and death. Also, how could you possibly place a timeline on this junk when at the moment all major offensives are stalled and there have only been localized actions for months? Also, most of those involved are only half heartedly fighting, including Russia and Galicia, and many states have little more than harsh words to contribute.

@darklight6921 No, I got plenty of risk. I just know my crazy ideas are as garbage as everyone else's. What you're saying simply doesn't make logical sense. I can say, however, that if you want to bet on an expansion of the war you should be long volatility in some fashion, but keep in mind the market has priced in the fact that may happen.

@karenwang313 Oddly enough, Mr Trump butted heads with Germany over the exact same thing before the war, only the roles were reversed. Then again, these days fools will have you believe Russia is both an impoverished turdworld country about to collapse and a towering military juggernaut about to purge cities at the same time...
