  3. Googling... In 2022 Tesla made 1.78 billion on carbon credits and 12.6 billion altogether. However, they also get 30% tax cut on money made from selling EVs as do the dealers and buyers not including state specific subsidies. It is more accurate to say that without all these government incentives, Teslas would be far too expensive for the consumer market.

  7. Rivian doesn't have that time and their losses are much more severe and they have a lot harder competition (why do we need the next Tesla when Tesla exists?). The bubble is over and interest rates are high.
