  5.  @leadingauctions8440  these aren't the same banks getting busted every time and these aren't felonies. The fines are mind bogglingly large, but that is due to the simply scale of modern banks.

That seems to be the current zeitgeist, and I personally would object to do anything worse to someone who didn't physically hurt anyone. Rather, it seems there are a lot of people with sour grapes on the internet that want mass punishment of the richest people literally no matter what they do. This is why you see Musk, Bezos, and Gates get all sorts of baseless rumors spread against them the instant they become the richest man in the world.
