Anachronistic? You can't get large appliances on Amazon and most of the fancy clothes either don't fit or are knock offs. And who said they cater to old people? The only anachronism I see is the stereotype that old people don't use computers, a trend that disappeared in the 2000's.

@jw8284 that's bull. The "old people don't use computers" ceased to be true nearly two decades ago. People go to Dilliards because most of the fancy clothes on Amazon either doesn't fit or is a knockoff and you can't easily order large appliances online. Also, Sears was Dillard's competitor, meaning the collapse of one leaves a vaccuum for the other. I don't see Dillard's expanding much, but their economic moat is there.

He means stock price. And either way, since they mostly sell stuff you can't have delivered they got a good economic moat

Do the prices match?

The fact people feel the need to spam that doomer message is more than enough proof that it will not occur. Now get back to work.

7:00 Those are both myths. The old south isn't more conservative (see Virginia and Florida) and the GOP wasn't unanimously anti-lockdown.

@brandonmclaren4853 it is a statistical fact. A lot of crazy things were said, including one BLM criwd that apparently thought lockdowns were racist, but there was no particular pattern to it all.

Dude, it's a common occurrence where a lucky small businessman becomes a big businessman. Pizza Hut was two guys who borrowed 500 bucks from their mother in order to sell pizzas out of a literal hut in Wichita back in the 1950's. Lucky for them, pizza became America's favorite dish soon after.

@taylorbug9 enough to buy a big house, not enough to be set for life.
