  1. It appears so. Most of it is localized, though. In one case, an entire fake baseball game was set up to trick gamblers into paying money. In another case, the army paid full price for helmets that turned out to be fiberglass.

  5. I won't say where, but I found in my history research that the current richest man in a place not only made his fortune money laundering for terrorists but currently has connections to the local drug cartel. These fake rich people in the turdworld are easier to find than people think.

  9.  @MsKelvin99  I personally evaded two scams, one on Craiglist and one on the phone, and I live in rural America. Many entire call centers dedicated to scams have been found in India. That is to say nothing of contract employment scams, where most workers are brought in as independent contractors with much of their pay being given at a bonus several years in the future, and of course they fire them rather than pay them. Likewise, many women from lower castes are tricked into getting sterilized, and there are conspiracy theories about "love Jihad" where Pakistan aims to conquer India by having Indian Muslims marry Hindi girls (I swear, that's actually happened). Rapes are generally unreported, because the victims are often arrested for prostitution. The list goes on, and on, AND ON, AND ON.
