I wouldn't put a price on personal brands because you can't possibly sell it. The brand is worth a lot as long as Mr. Donaldson keeps working.

Mr. Beast makes something of value

Well, there's often key man risk in many souless companies. For instance, if the CEO of Walmart is accused of embezzling, or if John Lassater of Disney quits.

Probably some unemployed lady's actual kitchen

Lose the bull. He's a recluse

He makes videos compulsively. He doesn't spend any of the money on himself

@jeraldketelboeter5740 he doesn't spend that money on himself. He doesn't even own a house

@jeraldketelboeter5740 Some greedy bastards would do that, but Mr. Donaldson has a very different vice: He's a recluse. Back when he was a kid he was doing YouTube stuff all day everyday except when he had to go to school. By the time he got out of high school he was making fast money and he just spent it all on making more videos. Across his entire lifespan, he has talked to cameras far more than he has talked to people. The real risk of the video is that someday he will simply stop. Maybe he will get married, maybe he offs himself, maybe he will be kicked from YouTube for stupid reasons. In any case, not worth investing in.

That is called a pyramid scheme

The entertainment industry as a whole is a ponzi scheme hidden by the fact most fail to launch wasting modest amounts of time/money while a handful of stars get all the money. For the stars, it's simply a super high risk business doomed to fall at some point or another, perhaps decades in the future
