  2. To be fair, most of these AI companies are still fundamentally profitable electronics manufacturers and R&D firms. While they aren't worth what people are paying, they aren't zeros like crypto and collectables.

  5. This is actually a legal con. Everything Rene Haas said about his company was technically true, but he knows that rich idiots will draw misconceptions from it.

  10. Wait, that thing about Chinese companies buying ARM blueprints makes more sense than you realize. Most of those ventures were scams to get subsidies and the rest lacked the funds to buy a lithography machine. I'll wager most of those conmen bought ARM blueprints in order to pass them as their own in order to collect subsidies.
