  1. Robo taxi profit potential is wildly overstated since it is based on current uber prices. If robo taxis were widespread they'd be dirt cheap as taxis available would exceed demand.

  2.  @grantguy8933  They inevitably will. Also, the system proposed involves owners renting out their own cars, meaning competition between these will bring the costs down.
