I once got into a bait-and-switch scheme. I entered into a drawing for something assuming the cost was they'd sell my info to marketers. They called me saying I "won" but within a minute it became clear the prize was conditional on buying something else. I hung up on them.

It's one of the gimmicks many of these guys offer, but marketing gimmicks are all these guys got

Reverse that logic. How often does the establishment of business monopolies actually lead to artificially high prices? You see? Anti-trust laws don't matter, what matters is the integrity of the average person in a given industry.

There's an internet service doing that where I live offering three months free internet. My sister took their offer, I ignored them. IDK if it's a blitzscaling Ponzi scheme or a bait-and-switch but it's not my problem

Low-barrier businesses are often loaded with enough greedy bastards that they all become Ponzi schemes. The expedited delivery market is the same way as all you need is a brokerage and a van. Average wage after expenses is below minimum wage for drivers/brokers while the managers are all losing money.

It works on the same concept as hedge funds. It keeps price discovery accurate and gives men the chance to become rich. But for that very reason, it draws in a lot of greedy bastards to the point where on average the whole industry effectively subsidizes the consumer experience at their own expense.

SPAC era is done. Institutions know how they work so they don't buy them

Enron was much bigger.

@citylimits8927 They were into anything that paid, though

I don't buy anything from salesmen of any kind, because obviously the salary of the salesman is priced in which is a lot. And that's assuming they're aren't scamming you in any way.

@Tola5657 No problems you have heard of, anyway. You either allow Ponzi schemes, or you allow monopolies, end of story

@Tola5657 You didn't apparently, since WSM doesn't conflict what I said. Now shut up you arrogant grunt
