  2. That's silly. First off, Chinese regulators are for political censorship mainly. Second, Chinese mostly makes mobile games because no firm has the money or expertise for AAA games. Third, "the West" in this case apparently includes everyone but China as only Chinese gamers are cut off from every other market (the biggest mobile game maker is in Israel).

  4. With Valve freemium games you also need to make at least one purchase to get voicechat, stats, and other stuff enabled. It's worth the three bucks if you play regularly.
