  1. Consul exclusive games aren't new. Over a decade ago I'd see my friends buy several gaming consuls to play different games they didn't need. Eventually one game platform must win out just to remove redundancy... And it's going to be PC.

  5. That makes no sense. Those awesome giant games everyone likes need large amounts of devs and a company that can afford to risk the game flopping. Also, why would being big make them predatory?

  6. Let's step back for a second and ask: Do we care? Will anything bad happen if one company owns the major franchises? If they introduce pay-to-win or get lazy in development most people will just play something else.

  8.  @ghostnoodle9721  that doesn't answer the question. According to industry insiders practices like pay to win and buggy releases actually do effect the bottom line. How exactly do you think someone can price gouge a video game? Or are you just jealous of Microsoft's market share?

  11.  @nicolashrv  Then why does any monopoly matter to you? Then why you losing your mind about loss of game quality that doesn't exist? According to one game critic, games tend to change when new devs work on an older franchise, not necessarily when they get bought out.

  13.  @nicolashrv  I wish. But when Microsoft bought out Mojang for a billion dollars that was a sign of Minecraft's success, and not a depreciating quality of output. So again I ask why you angry about big business? I will assume it's simply sour grapes until you can prove otherwise.

  15.  @MaxPowersCFB  I don't play CoD but from what I hear they do innovate with each new game even if the corps game is the same. The offender you're thinking of is FIFA Online where they update the roster and not much else. Someone keeps buying it, and I hope it's not the same people every year.
