He made all that money from rails and factory and most of it he used to build public libraries and donate them to the city. That's why many American and Scottish libraries are called Carnegie.

  14. In the cases shown in magazines about rich and famous, but there are plenty of rich donors you never here of. Rockafeller's entire motive for getting rich was to do the lord's work, as his idol growing up was a local businessman who made lots of money and gave it all away. Rockefeller is credited with the construction of hundreds of schools and churches but much of it wasn't known until after his death when his personal ledger was examined.

  15.  @matthewstahler6525  For-profit charities and politicized charities, maybe. One BLM group is being sued for something like that. Also in some third world countries I will not name all the charities are scams and everyone knows it but the charities target foreigners so no one cares. BUt most charity isn't in the news because it's run by churches.
