@daviidon he said the Fed was printing uncontrolled, the Fed official stats say otherwise, he claimed the numbers were falsified. He's a liar and stands to gain from his lies and distortions. We haven't had uncontrolled inflation since 1981 (or 1991 if you count it).

It's a scam. He straight up lied about the Feds when the official numbers didn't line up with his predictions. Since he's recommending gold while selling it, that makes his enterprise quite fraudulent. I guess the only reason he hasn't been arrested is that lots of people will buy books rambling on about this, but few if any will buy gold based on that info.
