Just so we're clear, army drill sergeants aren't allowed to do a lot of this stuff in most countries. Sleep deprivation and injuries kills actual learning regardless how determined everyone is.

@BofaDee33 I've seen the insides of 3 different basics and no, that's no how that works. We like to joke about what is technically allowed but there's several competing ideas of how to run training.

"Biden's friendly immigration stance" Correction: Biden has made no significant change to immigration law so far.
151
If this really were a charitable movement no one would care whose niche cause came first. Instead people are putting their personal interests ahead of any injustice that may or may not be occurring.
75
"Interest rate of 15% to encourage investment." You know you got a problem when the average western college student has a better credit rating than the Lebanese government.
61
This is why you're bankrupt, VICE
48
He might simply not know who to trust. The assailants knew EXACTLY how to bypass the guards.
45
That plus the authoritative body language and flashy clothes means she's probably double dealing both sides.
33
"Stark contrast to what we've seen on the other side of the border" You've never seen the other side of the border. That's a whole different story involving much much larger institutions facing and resolving exponentially larger problems.
32
Georgians aren't really unified on whether they want NATO memberships. Also, Finland didn't join NATO for the same reason.
26
That's like saying the Queen of England should have bailed out the Lehman Brothers. It simply makes no logical sense. Besides, if anyone owns Haiti it's the US, as we're the source of their educations, investment, and charity
26
@jonathanvillegas7570 except their engineers are subpar at best partially because they rely exclusively of rote memorization but also because the colleges are just the opposite and you can still pass even if you only show up to class half the time. Hense why they have lots of engineers capable of reverse engineering tech, but there's rarely anything new out of China.
23
Strong unnecessary partisan hints should be removed. You can just say "most elected officials care more about party politics than earmarks."
21
There's a lot of heart strings being yanked. Most Palestinian sources only report Palestinian deaths if an Israeli killed them. And if they were a little kid, or committed a suicidal attack, or died in battle they become a five minute celebrity like you saw in the video. Keep in mind the same people decrying collateral deaths are the same people teaching kids to say "I want to be a martyr."
21
For that happen then someone would have to believe there's any chance of them winning. There isn't.
20
The Feds don't charge for Visas. What did he spend all that on besides plane tickets?
19
Frankly, the biggest issue with earmarks is micromanagement. Federal departments need a literal Act of Congress to move around even modest funds. This causes delays and mismanagement.
19
I was expecting a lot of political BS in this, but THIS vice reporter doesn't let politics into his report at all. +1
17
To be fair, she doesn't want to get shot.
17
It's fast money, until you get shot by some degenerate.
16
Security appears to have been lax at best. At the very least the attackers did their recon and knew when the guards weren't around, but you can't rule out that the hit might have been ordered by someone very close to the President.
16
Dear VICE. While you're in Bangladesh you might want to look into how they're the drunkest Muslim nation. It's right up your alley.
16
@winterbreak It varies. There's what prescribed in the program and there's whatever the freakin DS feels like.
15
To add: Communism is breaking down in Cuba same as it did everywhere else. Many state ventures have far more employees than work, and many other ventures were not filled by the government due to lack of funds (especially smaller needs that rarely come to the attention of central planners). Case in point: That pharmacist at 3:20 that has a job but nothing to sell. Raúl Castro started laying off workers and allowing more small businesses in stages, but the same issues with central planning persist. Current President Miguel Díaz-Canel hasn't officially addressed these problems yet.
15
"Strict blockade on goods." Wrong verb. Near all of Gaza's essentials come from or through Israel. The IDF does searches of every passing truck for contraband ranging from weapons to drugs to the precursors of both. This makes many Gazans very angry, but they know as well as everyone else it isn't a "blockade" because that would cause immediate starvation.
15
@thepromking29 why'd anyone with a reliable internet connection be jealous of anyone in that shithole? And even the reporter in the video knew she had some sort of racket going.
15
I thought some sections of the internet were living in their own little worlds... Turns out some of them are.
14
@jmrabinez9254 No. And there are rules about how much sleep deprivation is allowed and injuries are seen by a nurse
13
It's the Phillipines. Everyone's gangster
13
Just imagine that conversation: "Despacho estamos en camino con el sospechoso. Llama al psicólogo y dile que estos gringos se creen que todos somos matones de la CIA."
13
People in Myanmar keep bringing pens to a gunfight...
13
Shut up, Shane.
13
This is why you went bankrupt, Shane
12
Complaints about release dates are clearly a matter of backlogs. Just because number of arrests goes up doesn't mean they can be booked and tried faster.
12
He means the Feds and/or local police. Check if there's a warrant out for his arrest.
12
Cuba doesn't have elections.
12
Who knows. Maybe they'll start fighting over turf.
11
Just because you were born here, doesn't mean anyone cares what you think
11
So much hoopla over such a small matter.
11
5:00 That's the army way of doing exercise. And yes, healthy amount of excercise does help get drugs out of your system and out of your mind.
10
Sudan has been at war with itself in one way or another for its entire history.
10
Can we not abuse the word crisis so much? At the rate we're going "crisis" will be redefined to be synomynous with "conflict."
10
It's what you get when skilled workers have zero money but still got to get stuff done.
10
@Tony Coniglio we say that but it is never true.
9
Finite amout of those jobs. And rent is expensive in Florida, you can expect both migrants and long time residents to start moving north.
9
It's a simple matter of the geostrategic chessboard. Can Moscow take Kiev cleanly before NATO even knows what's happening? The answer is no, which is why instead of war we get idiot reporters and politicians arguing in circles.
9
Does anyone really care what those jerkwads do to each other?
9
Physically impossible since all the warring factions are also fighting over what aid comes in and/or are blockade key roads to their enemies to prevent them from getting war materials. So unless you want the US to come in and act as sheriff, I'd ask you to not blame shift. Besides, a lot of the world's richest people are also the biggest donors to charity.
9
Found the dealer

@jessicaxhanning2111 I'm a historian. I actually had to check as part of my work. Biden's cronies were actually "relieved" when a Federal judge reinstated the remain in Mexico policy and only made minor tweaks. I have seen no other orders given from the current administration as he is preoccupied with unrelated matters. The border wall is still being built. Policies don't instantly change with a new POTUS.
