  2. There are seven legal gun dealers in Guatemala and no shortage of men from neighboring states willing to smuggle. Small arms are also legal in Guatemala unless you have a criminal record, and there are 3 registered guns for every 100 people and one illegal gun seizure every 2 hours. The National Police there say no single route is used as the country imports and exports guns all over. The gangsters can buy legal, or steal, or get it on the black market.
