  7. This is the US, we don't do punitive investigations or collective punishment. Besides, the whole military is very much a turdhole for systemic issues some of us know about but no one else cares to know about.

  9. That's not the officer's money. Recall these idiots are going to jail for bribes, not embezzlement. Also, we need that money to refit the whole Navy. Most of our ships are overdue for replacement and we've been grossly undermanned/underequipped for a long time.

  10. Treason is a different sort of crime. You'll find with most servicemen... They all seek out sex and few of them care how they get it. The divorce rate is really high because domestic incidents are not uncommon.
