Same part of the world where a large portion of telemarketing scams come from.......

@anjeetcrystal8154 strange assertion given they fight each other as often as anyone else
3
That doesn't make a difference other than to satisfy your own urge to dominate religion.

They do have votes and votes count, but given all the abuses it's often more like a competitive oligarchy.

Possibly. But censorship doesn't happen overnight in India as they pretend to have free press. Someone would have to trump up defamation or espionage charges and buy off investigators/judges. Usually that only happens when you tick off a hotshot directly.

@foxtrot9977 Oddly specific demand. But the fact if how the law works is defamation is a felony, and you can't argue that the statements were true or satirical. All that matters is if the statements express "hatred or contempt, or excite or attempt to excite disaffection." The Indian Supreme Court upheld the law saying "An individual's freedom of speech is balanced by an individual's right to reputation." Case in point, Swedish professional moron PewDiePie trash talked his competitor for largest YouTube channel T-Series (Indian music media). He straight up said his statements weren't defamation since they were ridiculous and obvious satire. But that didn't matter in India, where he was banned from the country. There was also a #MeToo activist who escaped defamation charges, a Dehli student union leader was charged for "anti-national" speeches, a cartoonist was arrested for allegedly mocking the constitution, a business college filed criminal complaints to prevent the publication of ridicule against them, and you should already see the pattern. Mid-level political enemies are the main target. You must realize that the men spreading conspiracy theories on this very video could theoretically also be charged with defamation.

@foxtrot9977 how could you have possibly read that one sentence but not the rest of it? You're as bad at lying as the average telemarketing scammer.
1
You should talk
1
That is not the topic at hand. And frankly you'll find this kind of abuse across the subcontinent regardless of religion... And it's been going on since before many current religions were invented.
1
India has always been like this

@manoj4730 even that guy's accent us American and he has little nice to say about Pakistan.
1
Someone make a Romeo and Juliet movie set in the subcontinent. You will not survive.
1
@JohnDoe-xq8sk need a hug?
1
If it is, it is kept quiet. This is part of the world where sex slavery was widespread and legal until Britain drove it underground. Forced prostitution is also still widespread and illegal on paper only.
1
Kafalas wrapped in a slavery scam? Like those guys could complain about anything at all.
1
There's nothing religious about holy war
1
@SuperYinox you accuse him specifically but you don't even know who he is or where he's from.
1
Found the drug dealer

The men and women don't treat each other any different any differently, it's just with the gender gap one class of persons has bigger fists than the other.
1
Patriarchy? What makes you think the mothers aren't involved? It's all about comtrol.
1
@kymah2689 it is literally true across the entire subcontinent regardless of religion.
1
You should talk.
1
It never had credibility
1
That is also true. But not the topic at hand.
