Recall Honduras used to be the definition of a Banana Republic and we were deeply involved in their war against socialism back in the day. These days we sell their government guns and trainers and the DEA coordinates with their police hunting drug gangs. They depend on the US for over a 3rd of their trade and export ag goods and import manufactured goods.

The many crimes there got the term changed to mean "systemic robbery" or "slave-like conditions." These days it's just an insult incompetent socialists throw at any and all businesses. With the funeral business, the word you're looking for is cutthroat competition. You see how prices are dirt cheap and they hang around murder/accident scenes. It would be strange if these guys started fighting each other for turf.....
