  1. About eating poisoned snow: That was an issue during the Winter War in Finland. Explosive residue was poison, and both armies were using snow as their primary water source. This is why you should never eat snow that looks even slightly off color or disturbed.

  24. About the atomic powered rocket, the graphite that contained the nuclear reaction and the hydrogen rocket fuel were incompatible. The math was the hot gas would dissolve the graphite "as fast as sugar in boiling water" so any rocket required a coating to protect the reactor from the fuel
