Dude, the meat is popular in Japan, and the reasons it's considered good are scientifically known (certain organic chemicals, marbeling, tenderness). And Japan has had a love for artesian goods and insanely levels of precision for as long as history can remember. There's one master craftsmen that still makes longbows the old fashioned way by hand, and people buy them. Cheaper industrial goods exist in Japan, but they don't boast about that sort of stuff.

@sivasankar5010 Your average Japanese dude can't afford this stuff and there really is skill involved. The thing about Japan is if it exists... Then someone in Japan is definitely taking it to its logical absurd extreme. Like the abuse sumo wrestlers endure, or the mothers encouraging their daughters to get plastic surgery.

@sivasankar5010 Frankly, we don't hear much from Japan despite it having a large population and a developed economy. That in itself is weird. However, there is the alleged discrimination against Koreans, the vigilante kills, one terror cult, the absolute power many government departments have, and the war memorials for WWII era rapists. Most Japanese people, however, seem more concerned about whatever highly niche sub-culture they're into rather than the big picture.

It is very good beef and very labor intensive to raise, though. Rich chumps can spend their money as they like.

Dude, large farms exist in Japan. The beef in the video is a luxury good. And there are videos posted by big farmers in the US. They whimsically name them, but automate the process as much as possible with robots (they even have collars that monitor health), allowing for maximum efficiency. This is how each farmer feeds hundreds of people.
