Men will fight over anything worth money, though

You could apply blood diamond logic to literally anything at all. There are even Mexican gangs that specialize in siphoning big natural gas pipes.

Since when are we obsessed over avacados? And the vigilantes and cartels fight over anything worth money.
2
Irrelevant.
1
@EdgyOllie most of these vigilantes are funded by "donations" from neighborhoods they "protect." Many are connected to unrelated rackets. Other take "spoils of war" from "cartel members." Often the only difference between vigilante and cartel is one deals drugs and the other impersonates a cop.
1
@EdgyOllie you're digressing to irrelevant US politics
1
@EdgyOllie do I care?
1
@EdgyOllie shut up. No one here would notice if you croaked, frankly. So why you think your opinion matters?

@EdgyOllie shut up

Let me guess. These guys are funded by "donations" from the farmers they "protect?"
1
@marghalla what makes you think they ever intended to be honest? Maybe they just intended to be the biggest?
1
We already have the narcotics kingpin act.
1
I saw one report where a farm worker said the bosses "treat the vegetibles better than they treat us."

4:05 Who's his trainer? Because his shooting is worthless, and none of those other guys knows how to hold a gun.
1
@GabrielGarcia-pb7er his shooting is so poor that I, an average tanker, could teach them better inside an hour. Do none of them really even know the basics even if simply by internet search?
1
Irrelevant. Roughly 3/4th of crime in Mexico has nothing to do with drugs and they have quite the domestic consumption themselves given hardcore drugs are cheap down there.
1
These guys have been fighting over anything worth money for centuries.
1
Cash?
1
An overbearing vigilante instead?
1
Come on. The difference between these guys and their enemies is on deals drugs for a living, and the other is impersonating police officers.
1
Dude, this has been how life has been since before Cortez got there.
1
@redhorse8018 you don't sound like a Mexican historian to make that assessment
1
@redhorse8018 it always has been that violent. If you lived there 5 centuries ago you'd have never heard of any place where criminals and POWs weren't eaten.
1
Whose?
