@floydlooney6837 that doesn't matter, just make a dummy email account to base new accounts on and no one will notice unless you make an admin angry enough to IP ban you.

Reddit is the fastest way for a total amateur to get his message in front of a large audience as fast as possible. What kind of behavior do you think it incentivizes? It's like asking why Valve servers are always so toxic.

The thing about history on Reddit is that even the mods on AskHistorians lack any history qualifications but will still remove everything they didn't write with condescending remarks and no explanation what the problem is.

Heck, half the time no one even knows why they were permabanned as different mods on the same sub may be working against each other.

No one goes on Reddit to be persuaded of anything. It's just a popularity contest. In fact, I know one place where the mods will introduce absurd assertions just so they can permaban anyone that asks questions

Some history subs on Reddit are loaded with socialists and neo-Nazis who think they're master manipulators. The drama is likely down to a handful of unique persons using multiple accounts (one of which is a mod on r/history)
