  1. I use to be an independent contract for a completely different type of work. Just don't. All the honest people have regular jobs with labor protections and benefits, and both ends of the gig economy are full of greedy "entrapaneurs" and people that refuse to take orders and/or refuse to work a regular schedule. I don't know what the case here is, but I'd recommend hiring someone you are directly related to for the grunt work, and have a Merry Christmas.
