Russia doesn't actually arrest people for having an opinion, they arrest people for saying rude/hostile things about the government. There is legal opposition in Russia, but those guys usually complain about Moscow's "adventurism" when there are domestic issues at home like substance abuse, pensions, and the roads.

@The Metal Do you even know what the censorship law is called? It's called "unsubstantiated allegations against authorities" and its been around for as long as records exist. One woman arrested under this law for weeks made daily hostile posts saying everything connected to the government was evil. After a while the police called and warned her, and a week later they showed up and gave her a ticket. That is censorship in Russia. Also, all protests are considered disorderly conduct.

@Joey-ct8bm dude, do you even know what bone records are?

@хорошая жизнь more to it than that, as credit ratings effect how much you can borrow. But regardless, Russia's credit has nothing to do with the fact they have a pension system.

@ФеофанЭтополедолжнобытьзаполне Fair enough. To be fair, in the US harassment is considered harassment... Unless you're rich/famous and then it's considered protest. The oddity comes from how protests were legalized over here due to events during the Revolutionary War... And Americans idolize that period.
