  1. Only for a couple decades and only a handful of towns were actually German. The war they're talking about actually didn't see genocide as most the deaths were due to famine/disease.

  3.  @taz09216  This is Namibia we're talking about. Most of the casualties were famine/disease induced and the Imperial German Army wasn't in the habit of slaughtering civvies.

  6. Germany has a literal promise to itself there will be no more war reparations. It was part of the deal that unified East and West Germany after the Cold War.
