  1. The eruption in Iceland was only predicted because the locals had first rate scientists with GPS trackers that monitored every inch of movement of the mountain. They closed the mountain and warned the farmers well ahead of time, but no one knew the mountain would shut down all air travel in Europe.

  2. The videos of the eruption were awesome, though. And I mean that literally as it fills you with awe before blowing you across town.
