A lot of these guys simply hate the government, others simply want an excuse to riot, others only care that it was a Kurdish woman, and others are trying to use the situation to seize high office. It is not clear why she was killed, much less whether this is a woman's rights issue. Business as usual in Persia...

  2. She was arrested for not wearing it correctly, you mean. And that's such an arbitrary thing to arrest someone for that it goes without saying she was arrested for some other reason. Perhaps they butt stroked her in anger and killed her by accident, IDK.

  6. That's silly. In Russia they'll just arrest you for harassment or hooliganism, which is just a fine and/or time served. In Iran, if you tick off the rich and powerful they will send you to gender reassignment surgery and force you into prostitution.
