  16. @temistogen4966  take the last year for example. Pristina refuses to recognize Serbian license plates or IDs. This is an issue for the people in border towns next to Serbia. They aren't just ethnic Serbs, many of them have family, jobs in Serbia and bought their car in Serbia. One Kosovar Serb cop was arrested for refusing to enforce the ban on Serb ID. This feud set off general rioting where the Serbs set up roadblocks in much of the north of the country. Belgrade thought they might seize this area by intrigue by offering their troops as a "peacekeeping" force, but of course everyone involved rejected this offer. And you think anyone can predict who will be fighting who?
