  1. When I was a jailer, most of the people we dealt with had some kind of drug charge. The addicts consistently said they'd rather go to rehab than jail, which made sense because we jailers were jerks and there were more freedoms at rehab... But come to think of it, I can't actually speak for the sobriety of the local rehab.

  2. Dude, the mentors are all reformed addicts. You surprised a large portion relapse? Also, everyone there knows plenty of dealers. The rest is just civil allegations involved in trying to get the bills paid and degenerates destroying their marriages.

  7. In the US it varies state to state but they're all heavily state subsidized. Commonly judges give addicts a choice between rehab and jail. Also, the mentors are all reformed addicts. Don't BS that relapsing rehab staff isn't a thing simply because of one politicized legislation.

  11.  @mister0sir  we didn't have a lot of contraband... But that was due to some extreme measures. The nurse had to constantly check claims because lots of people were malingering for medicine. And the process of giving medicine was constantly complicated

  12. Dude, it's like addiction in general. It is unclear if regulation effects it at all. Recall the corruption in question is just drugs and a number of civil allegations.
