  14. That's silly. Most of these houses were tofu dregs, built just for the pyramid scheme aspect. That's why you see so many people who own several homes which were unfinished. Also, they were often paying 5 times what Americans were paying relative to wages.

Some judges ordered compensation from developers to homeowners according to how many stories their house had and thus people started buying land ahead of the developers with skeleton structures that technically had several "stories" to extort compensation. Also, most of the buildings are only built well enough to be sold. They fall apart after a year or two. Videos circulated of construction workers diluting concrete with old glass bottles

  26. The numbers are artificially inflated because of pyramid schemes and restrictions on pyramid schemes that lead to many couples getting legally divorced so they could buy more housing
