  23. Not really. The EU doesn't have a single monetary policy, so there's no real comparison. The US for many decades has had artificially cheap debt and all sorts of subsidies for new and growing businesses, especially for individual skilled workers. My own college debt and mortgage is all guaranteed by the Feds and some of the schools I attended got big grants from state governments. I personally don't see how any of this helps. It simply incentivizes young men to take lottery ticket like risks and try to reach billionaire status.
