  9. This isn't remotely slavery. It's a scam. I had heard of other cases of hired caretakers overcharging or being absentee, which represents more typical case. I am also personally aware of a case where adult children fought over power of attorney over their senile mother. But that had nothing to do with money and everything to do with ego.

  13. You jump to conclusions. From what I can tell there was simply no exit clause introduced of any kind. She was having trouble in 2008, and her father simply bullied his way into keeping it.
