I'll wager he isn't sure if they're being extorted or are willing participants, but he knows for a fact some managers are Hamas men. But yes, since 2007 Hamas soldiers have been in the habit of asserting state jurisdiction on literally anything they want, even orchards.

  6. they're not hospitals. They are all very small and short on qualified persons and equipment, and most of the professionals have fake degrees. One Gazan said that all the local dentist could do is use painkillers and pull teath. Many nurses are illiterate and mistranslations of drug names are the norm (chemical names are in Latin letters, prescriptions are in Arabic letters)
