  2. You can't buy anything from the turdworld without playing whack-a-mole with pirates, gangs, and such. The difference is in most countries outside China the slavery incidents are too small scale to make international headlines. For instance, a lot of the ores coming out of certain mines in Africa are actually stolen by muggers before it gets to the distributors and since the muggers are miners it's impossible to tell the tainted goods from the good stuff. Meanwhile in the Middle East they rig migrant labor laws so that the employer can hold the employee prisoner without consequences.
