  5.  @lincolnkroll  the first proposal is much more difficult than you realize, as the reactor will have to fire dozens of times a second, and current reactors take hours to cool. The latter assertion is pure science fiction, and no such fusion rocket exists (ion thrusters put out tiny amounts of thrust).
