  4. @Razor Mouth☘️ Tuesday brought some decent news on industrial production after two months of contraction due to supply shortages. The eurozone total grew by 1.1% in October month-on-month, up from –0.2% previous. Supply is still tight but does appear to be easing. Even so, with Omicron likely to cause at least some problems, the winter months could bring a further dip as infection rates are likely to spike again and workers forced to stay at home. The near-term outlook is far from rosy. As ING note: “Most leading indicators are pointing to a loss of economic momentum in the fourth quarter, and the current fourth wave of the pandemic and the new Omicron variant will add further downward pressure to the eurozone economy, particularly to private consumption.”
