It’s so frustrating to be from there and you ask the people to be decent about many things for decades and the push back is almost like a defiance “no one’s gonna tell me to get it right around here”. Now, what fixes things? Gentrification. I live much further away in the nice area but in the inner city, they are preparing to do the same thing and why not? Part of our problems are the rich, a great deal are the poor.

  35. For many reasons, this story and the issue in general should be out more. I did hear her describe where the money WILL go as “SHOULD” go. So what’s the plan Stan. We need follow ups to make sure the money doesn’t disappear down a hidey hole. But most of all….people need to stop pretending this society and how its systems operate is ok or “best country in the world”. The addiction issues, poverty and mental health issues are out of control. Weirdos and psychos who take advantage (like drug dealers and politicians) don’t see this. The Bible thumpers may be one of the worst parts of this society but when they say this is the end times, I think they speak the truth without knowing what they are talking about.
