  1. True! I resently had an International Health Insurance company comparing the value of such insurance in respectably Ireland and Ecuador. Ireland officially one of the richest ountries in the world and, Ecuador listed as a developing country....hm. !? The result I received back from the insurer was, health in Ecuador, this being public or private, is 10 times better than same in Ireland!! Such a shame...but, no question where I will be retiring...not in Ireland and, not in Europe, simply because this is far from being just an Irish problem. Europe seem to have become a developing continent..and sadly, with the horrible treatment of own citizens during the past more than 20 years, many of us, are simply leaving and leaving for good!
